Janene Kingsley

M.A., LMFT 152376

Janene Kingsley is the founder of Transformative Relational Therapy Center and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in California. She earned her Master's degree in Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2022.

Janene works with individuals, couples, and families navigating betrayal trauma, problematic sexual behaviors, intimacy issues, infidelity, PTSD, emotional dysregulation, reunification challenges, and high-conflict relational dynamics. Her style is compassionate, grounded, and direct, helping clients understand the deeper patterns shaping their relationships, behaviors, and emotional lives while building the insight and tools needed for lasting change.

Her work is rooted in neuroscience, relational repair, and trauma-informed care. With clinical experience across wraparound services, correctional settings, and Special Treatment Programs, Janene brings both depth and steadiness to complex therapeutic work. Her approach is informed by advanced training in EMDR, treatment of problematic sexual behaviors, CASOMB-approved sex offender treatment, and Relational Life Therapy-informed work. She also maintains ongoing continuing education in trauma, ethics, abuse assessment, suicide risk, cultural competence, telehealth, OCD, eating disorders, anger management, ACT, human sexuality, and problematic sexual behaviors, with additional advanced training in progress.

Janene is also the founder of Oxytocin Rewire, a psychoeducational recovery app developed to support individuals working to overcome problematic sexual behavior patterns. The app integrates neuroscience, structured reflection, and practical interventions to help users better understand triggers, interrupt compulsive cycles, and build healthier behavioral and relational patterns over time. Oxytocin Rewire is anticipated to be available in the App Store in June 2026.

Clients often experience Janene as steady, compassionate, and deeply engaged—a safe and supportive place to explore difficult truths, strengthen self-understanding, rebuild trust, and move toward meaningful healing.

Located in Citrus Heights, California, Janene offers both in-person and secure telehealth sessions, providing flexible support for clients throughout California.
